Why did you decide to participate in the Bay for Breath Crossing?

When I participated in the 2017 Bay for Breath Crossing, it was a life-changing experience for me. The Crossing helped me appreciate and take better care of my own health, while supporting others with real health concerns. Landing on the beach in Monterey felt like an accomplishment, but learning how many people we helped through our fundraising was the most rewarding part. I can’t think of a better way to spend time than doing something you enjoy, with people you love, to help others.

Do you have a personal connection to Cystic Fibrosis or The Living Breath Foundation?

During the first Bay for Breath Crossing, I learned more about Cystic Fibrosis and all of the challenges that families dealing with CF face. The Living Breath Foundation meets the needs of those families in such tangible ways, and I’m proud to support their cause.
