Why did you decide to participate in the Bay for Breath Crossing?

I’ve been a long time surfer in Santa Cruz, as well as studied the marine habitat and it’s always been a goal of mine to cross the bay on a prone paddleboard. I heard about the Bay for Breath Crossing last year and it seemed like a great opportunity to raise money for a good cause and knock off a life goal.

Do you have a personal connection to Cystic Fibrosis or The Living Breath Foundation?

I do not, but having read the origin story for the Bay for Breath paddle I was touched on the reasoning behind it and the goal of the Living Breath foundation.
